Abraham Chavez Theatre
The Latin pop fans are in for a treat when the Abraham Chavez Theatre in El Paso, Texas, hosts the show for the 2026 USA Tour by Mexican pop-rock diva Maria Jose, and special guest Moenia on Sunday, October 25th, 2026. Two powerful women from the Mexican music scene are coming to bring passion to the Latin Pop stage: Mexican singer-songwriter Maria Jose and synthpop icon Moenia. Maria Jose will perform with her powerful voice and some of her most popular songs, including “De Noche” and “Lo Que Tenías Conmigo”. Maria Jose is one of the voices of Latin Pop, in the concerts that she performs always has the presence of very passionate followers. She has a classic repertoire that is sung by the public in the concerts that she performs, such as “Adelante Corazon”, “De Noche” and “Lo Que Te Mereces”. After being a soloist since she split up with the band Kabah, more than two decades ago. She has recently launched her new projects and her last releases, and with them she has shown her maturity as an artist. Among her recognitions are the nominations to the Billboard Latin Music Awards, as well as her popularity in many countries in Latin America. When you see her live on stage you can feel the deep emotion that she puts into every word that she sings.
Moenia- The high energy provided by Moenia will transfer to the audience of the Latin Alternative Rock fans attending the show. This is one of the most influential bands of the 1990’s that pioneered the Electronica Latina. A combination of Synth-Pop and other Electronic elements provide an extraordinary atmosphere that is full of depth and energy and the experience provided by Moenia is unparalleled. The band will perform a set list of classic songs such as “No Puedo Estar Sin Ti”, “Manto Estelar” and “Ni Tú Ni Nadie” as well as current songs and new productions from the past couple of years that are as strong as ever and that continue to captivate fans from all Latin America. Moenia’s shows are always a unique experience and the band will provide a perfect performance delivering an extraordinary mix of their past and current production.
The Abraham Chavez Theater is an intimate Downtown El Paso Venue for live music events. The Chavez Theater is a short walk from the El Paso Convention Center and only a few minutes from the US and Mexican Border. The historic 2,500-seat general admission theater delivers a fantastic sound and stage in an elegant, turn-of-the-century theater setting.
